MedOne offers sophisticated search functionality across all of its content. Simply enter the desired search term in the search field that appears at the top of each page.
When you enter a search term, MedOne will suggest search terms and match your search against its content. As you type, you will see suggestions for better search terms, and links to what might be the best content on MedOne.
Once the “search button” is pressed, MedOne displays search results across its e-books and all other content on the site, highlighting terms that were searched. You can scroll down the page to see the different types of content available.
MedOne also offers the unique feature of displaying PubMed’s top results for your search. These are listed at the bottom of your search results page.
You can select from the filters on the left-hand side to narrow a search to a specific type of resource, such as E-Books.
You can further refine most E-Book searches by title, author/editor name, alphabetical listing, and publication date.
If you want to search once reading an E-Book or E-journal, a search bar appears directly above the content. Once you perform your next search, click on the magnifying glass icon. You will be taken to the next result in the text. You can use the "Hits" tab to see further results.
