1. The log-in does not work. What can I do?

Please check whether you have correctly entered your username and password. Make sure that your keyboard caps lock (shift key with arrow pointing upward) is not enabled. Please be aware of upper/lower case.

If you are using a newly set password from an unsolicited email and cannot login, please try again after 30 minutes. If after 30 minutes with your new password you cannot log in, please contact the help desk: MedOne@thieme.com

We can then tell you which user name you have registered at MedOne. The password we cannot view due to security reasons. Therefore, you would have to optionally assign a new password using the "forgot password" feature.

 

 

 

2. I forgot my username. What can I do?

3. I have forgotten my password. How can I reset it?

If you enter the wrong password when logging in, it will not be possible for you to log-in. Click on the forgot your password link appearing on the log-in screen.

On the "password request" page, please enter the email address associated with your MedOne account, as well as in the field below the security code shown below. Then click on "Continue".

You will receive in the next few minutes an email with a link to the page to reset your password.

Please note that your password must be at least 8 characters long.

4. I want to change my password. How do I proceed?

If you want to change your password for security reasons, please sign in first with your existing user data. Next click on my MedOne, then click on your user profile, and then click the “update” button. Under the username and password section, select a new password, re-type your password, and click on the “save screen”. This functionality will change your MedOne password.

 

 

 

5. Would you like to sign-up for a free 14-day MedOne Trial?

You can set up a trial account, which allows you to test MedOne for 14 days free of charge. Follow this link:

6. My institution has licensed one or more license packages. Can I access MedOne content from home?

If you want to access MedOne outside your hospital, please register first on a device that is located in the hospital network. Your data will be automatically linked to your hospital and allow you to access the license packages from anywhere. Follow this link for this:

8. Can I access MedOne anytime?

If you have a personal MedOne account you can access your account from any internet connected computer. If your hospital has licensed MedOne via the hospital network (IP address range), and you would like to log-on from outside the hospital and access all MedOne options, you must first set-up a separate account using a device in the hospital IP range. See FAQ #6 for instructions on how to establish a personal account for access outside the hospital.

 

 

 

9. What are the system requirements for using MedOne?

In general, you can use MedOne on any PC, tablet or smartphone with internet access. MedOne is compatible with all popular browsers in the latest versions.

However, we recommend:
• A browser with HTML5 support,
• For an optimum viewing a monitor with at least 1280 pixels Image width
• For playing the videos a HTML5-capable browser or the latest version of Adobe Flash Player,
• Browser JavaScript enabled to use all the functionalities of MedOne.

 

 

 

10. The PDFs are not displayed correctly. What can I do?

We recommend Adobe Acrobat Reader for the presentation of our PDFs. In other PDF readers, the format may be wrong or functions (such as fillable form fields) are not always used.
Google Chrome and Mozilla Firefox often have integrated PDF view. This however is very limited and can not represent complex layouts, and some functions.
